|If not now, then when? Time for Rivers to make an impact.|
QB Philip Rivers SD - Rivers has not had a strong season thus far, coming off his 2nd single digit fantasy performance on the year. Rivers will put up his best game of the year this week. Coming off a bye, a healthy Mathews, Gates and Floyd will all help Rivers put up 20+ this week against a poor Browns defense currently giving up the 3rd most points to QBs. Start him and feel good about this week.
RB Frank Gore SF - Gore and the Niners are coming off of a complete slaughtering of the Bills. I expect this ground and pound offense to continue it's ways against the Cardinals. Cardinals have a decent rush defense, allowing 16th most points to fantasy RBs, but as the Vikings and AP showed last week, just run a lot, and success will follow against the Cards.
WR Reggie Wayne IND - The Colts and Titans play each other this week, and it looks like it could be a shootout. Because of this, Luck is going to throw the ball 40+ times, and that means an easy 10+ targets for Wayne. Look for Wayne to be good for 80+ yards and a score.
QB Robert Griffin III WAS - This was a tough choice. Mainly because there aren't many top QBs I don't like this week. RG3 is the easy choice to fall back on, as this is probably the best defense he has had to play this season (Pittsburgh). Coming off a heartbreaking loss and on the road, this could be his first bad performance of the year. (Well, he has been amazing every game, so even 17 points would be a letdown for RG3 owners.)
RB Reggie Bush MIA - He has a good matchup against the Jets this week, but I just don't trust him. He has 1 TD since week 2, and hasn't been Mr. Leading Rusher at all this year. I wouldn't trust him until I see him actually perform well after hurting his leg.
WR Julio Jones ATL - This pains me to write. Julio has been good this year, that can't be denied. He just hasn't been THE guy in Atlanta like many (including myself) predicted. He has a slightly tough matchup against the Eagles, and didn't do much against them last year. I'm not saying bench Julio obviously, but don't be surprised if he ends up with 4 catches, 50 yards.
